Clearbrook Brewing - Abbotsford Beer and Wine Making

Clearbrook Brewing is a brew on-premise operation offering its customers a state-of-the-art facility to assist them in producing beers, wines, coolers and ciders for personal consumption. Our aim is to provide quality ingredients, friendly staff, good advice and assistance, along with production equipment to ensure a commercial-quality finished product you can serve with pride.

 

     


Our Facility


Our facility is located at 3275 McCallum Road, Abbotsford British Columbia. The shop is divided into two sections one for wine the other for beer. Temperature and humidity are controlled throughout the facility to ensure an optimal environment for the manufacture of quality beer and wines.

      


Equipment & Process

Our beers are produced straight from grain on our 4 vessel microbrew system and packaged on our custom filler seamer canning line.

We produce wine from kits but also straight from grapes using the same equipment you see in the small vineyards in the Okanagan.

      


Ingredients

Our two row barley comes from southern Saskatchewan with hops from Yakima Washington with our yeast custom from Wyeast in Oregon.

Grapes are sought from California, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia (when pricing allows). From pick to crush often in less than 24 hours to ensure will have no biological issues.

•   $143 = 12 dozen beer in cans
•   $110 = 4 week Regular wine kits (30 bottles approx.)  |  $135 = 7 week Premium wine kits (30 Bottles approx.)  |  $220 = Wines straight from grape with (24 bottles)


People

•  Dale Frederick : owner founder. A graduate Mechanical Engineer who simply took a walk up beers evolutionary chain nineteen years ago and started Clearbrook Brewing. He keeps it interesting by continuing to build and improve on our process and equipment.

•  Jason : The quarter back of the beer side and the guy you have to talk with to get in the queue for beer making and canning. Jay has a love of sports (hockey and baseball in particular) that only gets rivalled by a love of beer. (his real true love is Evelyn, Hi Ev)

•  Jackie : Started in the Ubrew industry in the early Nineties after a hiatus in Sparwood, Jackie returned to the industry with us in 2008. She is a knowledgable and valuable asset to the wine operation. Nice Jackie is often confused with her evil twin. It’s very hard to tell them apart.

•  Dave : Co Brewer with Dale. After training five young people finally we found the individual with both the effort and the talent to produce high quality, highly consistent beer day in and day out. Just a young man who is now living the dream.
